Men’s Bible Study – Monday @ 6:30PM

Every Monday evening throughout the year, the Men’s Ministry meets for Bible study in room M105 at 6:30PM. The Men’s Ministry at Woodlawn meets every Monday at 6:30PM in room M105 for Bible study.  You can enter through the glass doors next to the playground. Women’s Virtual Bible Study – Monday @ 7:30PM

This fall, the Women’s ministry is offering a Monday night online Bible study. The study is called From Beginning to Forever. Elizabeth Woodson is the author and video presenter of this study. Victoria Rawls will be facilitating the group discussion. This virtual study will begin on September 8 and end on December 15. They will meet every other Monday night. In this 8-week study, Elizabeth Woodson guides you through the story of the Bible, showing how all 66 books combine to form one unified narrative. To sign up for this study, please click here

Women’s Bible Study – Tuesday @ 10AM

The Women’s ministry at Woodlawn will be offering a Bible study called Take Every Thought Captive by Kyle Idleman. This study will begin on September 9 at 10AM in room M105. They will meet every Tuesday morning for 8 weeks. This study will be led by Joyce Martin and Robbi Francovich. To sign up for this study, please click here.

Family Mid-Week – Wednesday @ 6PM (Begins September 17)

Families with 6th graders and younger kids are invited to bring their own dinner and gather with other families for a time of fellowship, discipleship and missions. Families get to do life alongside other families and be intentional with spiritual conversations on Wednesday nights. This is a time to connect, grow and serve as a family. The Gathering (Pastor Bible Study) – Wednesday @ 6PM

On Wednesdays at 6PM, Russell Allen, the lead pastor at Woodlawn, leads a Bible study in room M103.

Student Wednesday Bible Study – Wednesday @ 6PM

Every Wednesday night from 6PM-7:30PM we meet upstairs in Great Hall for Wednesday Bible Study. This is a time for students to gather together and spend time in Bible study and prayer groups as well as enjoy group games and, of course, there will be food for your student to eat!

Young Adult Small Group – Wednesday @ 6:30PM (Begins September 17)

A small group Bible study for young adults in M201 with childcare available for children under 3.  If you are in your 20’s and would like to connect with others at Woodlawn, this is an opportunity to grow in your relationship with God and others. PRECEPTS STUDIES

Precept Study led by Katie Phillips – Monday @ 9AM and Tuesday @6:30PM

The precept class led by Katie Phillips will begin a new study based on 1 Peter. Scattered, suffering, and discouraged – this was the state of mind for believers facing persecution after a rapid and exhilarating time of growth for the church. Needing encouragement, Peter steps in, with his letter to the churches spread across the tumultuous Roman Empire.

This is a 9-week study starting on September 15. You will have the option to attend on Monday mornings from 9AM – 11AM in room M-203 or via zoom.  You can also attend a Monday evening class at 6:30PM – 8:30PM at the home of Katie Philips.

Virtual Precept Study led by Christi Mullens – Sunday @ 4PM

This Precept study this fall will be based on James.  It is called, A Faith that is Real: How should you live the Christian life? The Book of James has 12 teachings about wholehearted devotion to Jesus. Learn God's principles for dealing with trials, temptations, the tongue, and the pull of the world. Bible Study Fellowship  - Wednesday @ 9AM

BSF is a national organization that has Bible studies around the globe.  Woodlawn hosts a Women’s Bible Study on Wednesday mornings.   They meet in our worship center for a time of large group teaching.  And then they will break up into smaller groups for discussion.  Childcare is also provided. 

Go to myBSF.org and then you can search for a Women’s group in South Austin and you will find the group that meets at Woodlawn and join the group from that website.
