ADULT MINISTRIES

Adult Bible Study - Sunday Mornings at 9:30

These small groups are traditionally known as Sunday School classes. In order for us to have a growing relationship with God, we believe people have to grow in their knowledge of who God is, what He thinks, how He acts, what He says and that comes through a deeper and firmer knowledge of the Bible. But, it is more than just a time of studying scripture. It is a fellowship of believers that grow closer to Christ together and involved in ministry together.

Community Small Groups - Knowing the Bible is not enough for people to grow the way God intends.  To grow like that, one needs to develop deep relationships with other believers and join together in this pursuit of God.  Community Small Groups are the best place to discover and work on those relationships. These groups meet away from the church and in a home on Sunday nights or other times throughout the week. The discussion topic for the small groups are based from the sermon preached that Sunday.

Men's Ministries - A Disaster Relief Ministry is forming at Woodlawn through TBM (Texas Baptist Men).  TBM is involved in feeding the workers in a disaster area and the families that have been affected.  There are also teams that work on chainsaw crews, covering damaged roofs, and much more.       

Women's Ministries - The goal of the Women's Ministry is to meet the needs of women, strengthen them in the Lord, and help them find their place of service in Christian fellowship.  During the year here are some of the special events and ministries: Mission Projects, Heart to Heart Conference, Special Brunches, Book Club, and Craft days.
