Billy Graham Telephone Ministry
In addition to the joy of sharing the Gospel with callers we have computer helpers to check addresses and prayer warriors that are a part of the supporting prayer team. We have a place where God has gifted you to serve. Disaster Relief- Texas Baptist Men
Texas Baptist Men trains volunteers and coordinates efforts in providing prompt assistance to disaster victims. Texas Baptist Men maintains a fully-equipped mobile disaster relief feeding unit and works to coordinate with the Regional units throughout the state that relate to TBM to provide emergency food services.
Helping Hands Ministry
"Helping Hands" Ministry! Is a group of Woodlawn Senior Adults who are willing to help our older members with needs. This is a "neighbor-to-neighbor" effort, helping in areas such as: simple household maintenance, computer assistance, car repairs/advice, tax assistance/referral, yard work, transportation to appointments, medical questions/advice, sitting with a homebound person. If you have a need we can meet, please call the church office. If you would like to lend "Helping Hands" to someone, call Rich Pedersen to volunteer (282-1945).
Homebound Ministry
About a dozen caring Woodlawn members make time each month to visit our frail elderly who are in homes or care facilities. Their visits serve to keep these persons in touch with their church, and to take appropriate Christian reading materials to them. These who have been faithful through their lives need not be forgotten or forsaken when health lessens. Contact person for this ministry is Janet Burton (447-5250). Names of persons needing our care are welcomed.
Mother's Day Out
The purpose of the MDO program is to provide a safe, loving, trusting environment for families with young children, and to extend the ministry of the church. Click here for more information.
