"Greetings, my name is Bob McRae and I have been selected to represent the congregation as your 2009 Deacon Chair. This year will be a year of challenges and accomplishments as we, the deacon body, strive to stay in line with God’s vision for our church and congregation. My number one aspiration for this year is to become closer to God as I serve you and our deacon brothers and we as a whole serve God. Part of this year’s vision is to expand on our ministry of service to others starting with Woodlawn and spreading out into the community. It is God’s will and mine to serve you and to be there for our deacons and our congregation. Please feel free to contact me or any of our deacons if you need us to pray or assist you in any way. My desire is that we all get to know one another better. It is our joy and privilege to serve you."
